Siw Tone Innstrand, PhD

Bio/CV: 

Siw Tone Innstrand is a professor in Occupational health psychology at the Department of Psychology and Director of Center for Health Promotion Research. She has a PhD from NTNU on the interaction between work and family.

Dr. Innstrand gives lectures and teaches in various fields such as occupational health, work environment, health promotion, intervention research and quantitative method. She has initiated and developed, ARK, which is a comprehensive implementation program to promote psychosocial work environment in academia. Currently over 19 universities and university colleges in Norway (N>60.000), and two in Sweden, is using ARK regularly in their systematic health, work and safety effort.

In 2016/2017 and in 2021/2022 she was awarded Fulbright Scholarship to work one year at Interdisciplinary Center for Healthy Workplaces. 

Currently Siw Tone Innstrand the WP leader in the EU project "H-work - Multilevel Interventions to Promote Mental Health in SMEs and Public Workplaces". Together with 14 partners from nine different countries, they will develop and test interventions, measuring instruments, tools and models to promote mental health in Europe.
